Kurt D. Wright, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Growing up, I was exposed to the struggles that families have with communicating with loved ones who are experiencing hearing difficulties. Having this issue so close to home made me realize this is what I wanted to do. When I was in my early teen years, my mother developed a significant hearing loss. I became interested with Audiology in the hopes that one day I could help my mother and people just like her. The thought of my mom hearing with less difficulty is what helped me never waver from my dream to help people who are hearing-impaired. My wife and I had vision of a company whose main purpose is to glorify God in all we do. Our desire is to maintain a lasting relationship with each patient by serving with excellence, integrity and professionalism. For over 20 years, I have worked in the Charlotte, NC metro area to help people improve their hearing and it is still an amazing feeling to know that I am able to help them hear better, to see their face when they can communicate with their loved ones. The lifelong relationships I have had the pleasure of making has made me truly blessed. The testimonials received daily are the inspiration that drive us to strive for excellence. Dr. Wright earned his Doctor of Audiology Degree (Au.D) from Salus University in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania and a Masters degree in Audiology from Kent State University. He holds a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech & Hearing Association and is proud to be Audigy certified. His commitment to continuing education and dedication to understanding the latest, most advanced technology assures that each patient will receive excellent service, expert advice, extraordinary technology, and exceptional value.

Lynn High, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
I always knew I wanted to work with people to help them improve the quality of their lives. This led me to major in Communication Disorders at North Carolina State University where I graduated Summa Cum Laude. Fascinated with the anatomy and physiology of hearing, I attended East Carolina University, where I earned a Masters Degree in Audiology. As part of the Masters program, I served a semester long externship at Duke University Hospital's Department of Audiology, where I was exposed to a wide range of disorders, and was privileged to train under some of the best audiologists in the region. As a life long resident of North Carolina, and having grown up in the Charlotte area, I returned home and joined a large local Ear, Nose & Throat practice, where I served as a clinical audiologist. I was exposed to a wide variety of patients and disorders, and performed many different types diagnostic tests. After two years, and with a solid base of clinical experience to draw upon, I began working on my Doctor of Audiology Degree with Salus University, graduating in 2008. While working with the ENT practice, I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Wright at a conference in Charlotte. I was impressed with the philosophy of Manna Audiology, the desire to glorify God, and to maintain a lasting relationship with the patient. Several years later, I was thrilled when Dr. Wright and his wife invited me to join Manna Audiology. In a specialty medical practice, the objective is to diagnose the patient, treat the disorder, and return the patient to the care of the primary care physician. At Manna Audiology, I have the opportunity to spend as much time as necessary with my patients to give them the absolute best results possible. It is so rewarding to help people regain their confidence and reconnect with their family, friends and loved ones. Hearing the excitement in their voices as they tell me they can hear their turn signals clicking, or the zipper on their purse as they close it, makes all the work worthwhile. It is my desire to exceed the expectations of my patients in every way. Dr. High is an active member of the American Academy of Audiology. She holds a current license from the NC Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologist and Audiologist and from the NC Hearing aid dealers and fitters board.
